Set a root key, a mode, a chord-progression preset, and a seed. This is the harmonic backbone every other part is built on. Reroll the seed for a fresh idea in the same key — or lock it once it’s right.
Each layer reads the same backbone but carries its own rhythm, register, velocity, and style. Enable only the ones you need — each plays out on its own MIDI channel.
The harmonic foundation. Cordial voices each chord in the progression as pads or stabs, with its own rhythm and register.
Movement over the same chords. Set the rate, pattern, and direction, and the arp follows every change in the progression.
The low end. Root motion that tracks the changes, with its own groove and octave so it sits under the rest of the parts.
The top voice. A lead line generated inside the key and mode you set — change the seed for a new phrase over the same chords.
